This is the privacy policy for electricpalm.com, operated by Electric Palm ("we," "us"). We wrote it in plain language on purpose. The short version: we collect your email address when you give it to us, we use it to tell you about drops, and we don't sell it. Here's the long version.
What we collect
- Your email address — only when you type it into one of our signup forms and hit submit. The form also records which part of the page you signed up from, so we know what's working.
- Basic technical data — like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and to keep the site running.
- Order information — when we begin selling, checkout and payment will be handled by a payment processor (such as Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
What we do with it
We use your email to send you what you signed up for: drop announcements, early-access links, and your founding-member code. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works the first time.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We don't rent it, trade it, or share it with other brands' mailing lists.
Who touches the data
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf to make the site work:
- Netlify hosts this website and stores form submissions.
- Email service providers we use to send the announcements you signed up for.
- Advertising pixels — if we run ads, we may use tools like the Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel, which use cookies to measure ads and show our content to people who visited this site. You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings and the ad preferences inside those platforms.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email.
- Deletion — email us and we'll delete your information from our lists. No hoops.
- California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you and to request its deletion. Email us to exercise them; we don't discriminate against you for doing so.
Kids
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes to how we use your email will be announced to the list before they take effect.
